  • My sponge and soap were always sitting on the counter and making everything look messy. This keeps everything together and frees up so much space.

    Sarah M.

  • I was worried I'd need tools or have to drill into anything. You literally just attach it to the faucet and tighten it. Very easy.

    Rohan D.

  • I wasn't expecting much at this price, but the steel feels solid and it hasn't started looking rusty or loose. Been using it every day and it's holding up great.

    Priya S.

  • I wasn't sure if it would work with my kitchen faucet, but the adjustable attachment made it really easy to fit. It stays firmly in place and doesn't wobble.

    Anita K.

  • Honestly, I thought it was just another kitchen gadget. After using it for a few days, I can't imagine going back to keeping everything on the counter.

Everything your water supply carries in — sand from the borewell, silt after the monsoon, rust flakes off old municipal pipes — ends up settling on the floor of your overhead tank. From there it works its way into every tap, geyser and washing machine in the house.

This bag ties onto the inlet pipe inside the tank, so the sediment is caught at the point where the water arrives rather than cleaned up afterwards.

    How it works

The slotted cap clamps around the inlet pipe and the fabric bag hangs below it inside the tank. Water passes through the 5 micron non-woven fabric; sand, silt, mud and rust particles do not. When the fabric turns visibly brown, untie it, rinse the sediment out, let it dry and put it back.

    What it does not do

This is a sediment filter, not a purifier. It removes suspended solids. It does not remove bacteria, viruses or dissolved chemicals, and it does not make water safe to drink on its own — you still need an RO or UV purifier for drinking water. We would rather say that here than have you find out later.
